Kentucky is attempting to narrow the information technology gap by mandating that all new housing units funded more than 50% by the Kentucky Housing Corporation have to be wired for broadband Internet access. In this day and age, it is virtually a necessity for education that kids have access to the Internet at home. Now, even low-income kids in Kentucky have the potential to succeed as well as their peers from wealthier families.

More censorship from the warmongers. Two activists in New York were arrested and held in jail for several hours after hanging flyers with pictures of ordinary Iraqi citizens around the city.

I loved playing with LEGOs when I was younger. I probably would still be building things with them, but at the age of 13, my grandparents stopped buying them for me and since I couldn’t afford them, I lost interest. Why did they stop buying them for me, you ask? The box said ages 7-12, or something like that.

A man with a lot of LEGOs and time on his hands has recreated scenes from the Bible using his LEGO sets. They are accurately depicted, albeit with a touch of humor in the nature of their form.

LEGO is coming out with an Imperial Star Destroyer in its line of Star Wars figures. Check out the opening scene from Star Wars IV: A New Hope re-enacted with LEGOs.

My undergraduate degree is in Mathematics, so I think it is particularly cool that someone has put the time and effort into making mathematical sculptures using 1×1 and 1×2 bricks.

Brick Tales has recreated scenes from various classic literary works, including Hamlet, The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, and The Lord of the Rings.

For the past week, I have been spending my spare time working on putting up the storefront for the National Women’s Music Festival. If you haven’t been to this festival, you should make plans to be there this year. There are many great musicians performing, and unlike some other women’s music festivals, men are allowed to attend and you don’t have to camp outside. Also, my friends are performing on the Saturday night mainstage.

In a subsequent PR move, he delcared February as Florida Library Appreciation Month. I wonder what he’d do to you if he didn’t appreciate you?

I’m not sure if there is enough reason to even consider it yet, but some folks have started a movement to impeach Dubya.
