Care to share your great idea, or is it still under wraps lest more people steal it out from under you?
It was on the tenure process for librarians, a somewhat contentious topic on my campus. I am still thinking about looking at what is considered to be scholarly publication for librarians. Librarians tend to write more practical application type articles and books, whereas other disciplines focus more on research and theory. Our current provost is a biologist, so no matter what we consider to be scholarly, we still have to convince him of its worthiness.
