stop the world from spinning

Is it too much to ask that everyone put their lives on hold while I’m on vacation and/or away for a conference? I mean, really, 200+ work emails in two weeks seems a little excessive. I’m not here — figure it out yourself, fer cryin’ out loud!

Edited to add: At least half of the messages are from the past four days!! WTF?? grrr….
