Why do we make rules for library users that we can’t follow ourselves? This popped up on the Flickr librarian tag feed. I am reminded of all of the times I’ve walked by signs stating the library’s food and drink policy (nothing but water bottles allowed here), carrying a sack of whatever fast food I picked up that day while running errands over lunch….
